L3Harris Red Wolf Flies From Army MH-60 Black Hawk in First Special Operations Test

L3Harris and the US Army Special Operations Aviation Command completed the first Red Wolf air-launched effect flight demonstration from an MH-60 helicopter, announced on October 13, 2026. The flight used a test payload to validate launch-system compatibility and demonstrate the vehicle's flight characteristics in an operational setting; the test location and flight date were not disclosed. Red Wolf belongs to L3Harris' modular Wolf Pack family, which also includes Green Wolf and supports precision-strike and non-kinetic mission configurations. The demonstration brings the portfolio to 60 flight demonstrations and extends its integration work to Black Hawks and other H-60 variants following launches from fixed-wing, rotary-wing and ground platforms.
