L3Harris secures record $4.7 billion PAC-3 MSE propulsion deal from Lockheed Martin to expand U.S. interceptor production capacity

L3Harris received an undefinitized contract from Lockheed Martin worth $4.7 billion over seven years, its largest agreement to date for PAC-3 production. The company will supply the PAC-3 MSE interceptor’s two-pulse solid rocket motor, Lethality Enhancer and attitude-control motors. Two additional manufacturing facilities now under construction in Camden, Arkansas, are scheduled to begin operating in 2027. The award is intended to remove propulsion bottlenecks and expand output as the United States and allied operators seek substantially larger, more resilient Patriot interceptor inventories for sustained operations across several theaters.
