Land Forces 2026: Kongsberg advances Australian missile production, exports

Kongsberg Australia expects its Williamtown missile factory to begin Naval Strike Missile production by the end of 2027, with Joint Strike Missile manufacturing following approximately four months later. The company plans to take possession of the building in March 2027 and has obtained an Orchard Hills facility for integrating energetics into both missile types. Australian-made NSM launchers are also being supplied to Danish and Spanish warships under an A$50 million export contract, while coastal-defense fire-control consoles are reaching Poland. Initial missile output will serve Australian requirements, with additional factory capacity available for exports.
