Land Forces 2026: L3Harris addresses comms upgrade for Aussie Bushmasters
L3Harris Australia will upgrade command, control, communications, computers and intelligence equipment in just over eighty Bushmaster command and troop vehicles under LAND 4111 Tranche 2. Awarded on June 10 and announced on October 5, the three-year contract covers design, integration, installation and delivery, beginning with prototyping at the company's Brisbane support centre. The work follows its support to Thales on the programme's earlier tranche and targets improved connectivity and interoperability for in-service vehicles. L3Harris also displayed a connected-vehicle system at Land Forces 2026, but the exact equipment selected for this contract has not been announced.
