Latvia To Order Anduril's Barracuda Cruise Missile For Long-Range Strike Capability

Latvia is moving toward acquiring Anduril Industries' Barracuda autonomous air vehicles after President Edgars Rinkevics visited the company and highlighted cooperation agreements involving Latvia's Defence Ministry and Origin Robotics. The prospective purchase would add a rapidly producible, software-defined strike system to Latvia's growing long-range fires portfolio, although the variant, quantity, contract value, and delivery schedule have not been announced. The initiative remains an acquisition plan rather than a completed order and follows Riga's wider effort to expand precision-strike capacity alongside its incoming HIMARS and ATACMS capabilities.
