Leidos MUSVs Successfully Operated With Navy At RIMPAC, Carrier Strike Group

Leidos operated medium uncrewed surface vessels during RIMPAC and later alongside a US Navy carrier strike group, moving the platforms beyond isolated demonstrations into more representative fleet activity. The events assessed command-and-control links, endurance, payload employment and the practical integration of autonomous vessels with crewed ships, aircraft and operational staffs. Successful participation provides evidence for distributed maritime operations and persistent sensing, but it does not by itself establish a production decision; the Navy still must evaluate reliability, logistics, doctrine and human oversight before broader deployment.
