Lockheed Martin CEO says PrSM output needs to grow faster than planned as demand drives production ramp

Lockheed Martin’s chief executive said Precision Strike Missile output must rise faster than previously planned as demand grows for the Army’s long-range weapon. The company is adding automation and AI-informed processes at Camden, Arkansas, while proposing to move labor-intensive ATACMS production into Rheinmetall factory space in Germany. Because ATACMS currently occupies roughly two-thirds of the shared production area, the transfer would free capacity for the more automated PrSM line. PrSM Increment 4 also cleared a technical gate in June, advancing an extended-range variant designed to remain compatible with existing HIMARS launchers.
