Lockheed Martin says U.S. Army NGC2 integration links battlefield data, fires and sustainment
Lockheed Martin reported progress integrating U.S. Army Next Generation Command and Control capabilities during the 25th Infantry Division's Lightning Surge 5 experiment. Acting as a system integrator, the company connected battlefield data, electronic intelligence, terrain visualization, digital calls for fire and sustainment information through a shared operational architecture. Its work involves interoperability with technologies supplied by other NGC2 participants, including Anduril, Palantir, Raft and Rune, rather than the delivery of a stand-alone Lockheed command system. The exercise demonstrated selected integration functions under field conditions, but did not represent full operational deployment of the entire NGC2 architecture across the Army.
