NATO summit 2026: Türkiye furthers Atmaca procurement, munitions provision

Türkiye announced expanded procurement of the domestically-developed Atmaca anti-ship missile and additional munitions provisions at the NATO summit. The Atmaca is Turkey's indigenous replacement for the Harpoon missile. Additional export deals with NATO partners are under discussion. The move strengthens Turkey's naval strike arsenal.
