NHI offering ‘much cheaper' surplus Norwegian NH90s to international market

NHIndustries is offering 14 former Norwegian NH90 NFH helicopters and associated spares to international customers after acquiring the aircraft back from Norway in 2025. The helicopters are being held at an Airbus facility in Norway and are being marketed at a substantial discount compared with newly produced aircraft, potentially allowing one or more buyers to expand an existing NH90 fleet. Norway had withdrawn the type after concluding it could not meet national availability and mission requirements, leading to a protracted settlement with the consortium. No buyer, resale price, refurbishment package, configuration changes or delivery timetable has yet been announced.
