Northrop Grumman Autonomy Capabilities Aid Range of Uncrewed Systems

Northrop Grumman described an autonomy portfolio spanning small uncrewed aircraft through 737-sized platforms and cited more than 500,000 autonomous flight hours accumulated across programmes including Global Hawk and Triton. Its Talon IQ programme uses the Model 437 as an open flight-test platform, while Prism mission-autonomy software has flown on the aircraft and demonstrated in-flight transitions with partner autonomy packages. The company is also developing Talon Blue as a purpose-built collaborative combat aircraft demonstrator, linking common autonomy software with multiple airframe and mission-system options.
