Northrop Grumman opened a 120,000-square-foot facility at its Gilbert, Arizona, space campus to expand capacity for national-security, civil and commercial space programmes. The A1 building adds office space, classified work areas, integration and test facilities, and broader mission-support capacity. The company presented the opening as part of its long-term investment in Arizona's advanced manufacturing and space-engineering base and said the facility expands workforce capacity. Northrop Grumman did not disclose the investment amount, specific programmes assigned to the building or a separate hiring target tied to the opening.
