Northrop Grumman expands Utah site for Sentinel ICBM work as U.S. advances strategic deterrence programme
Northrop Grumman is expanding its Utah facility to support production of the Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile, part of the U.S. nuclear triad modernization. The expansion supports engineering and manufacturing development phases. Sentinel is set to replace the aging Minuteman III fleet. The program remains a top strategic deterrence priority despite cost overruns.
