Oshkosh Defense expands African business with Morocco order for 50 heavy transporters and 50 trailers to support armored forces

Oshkosh Defense has received a follow-on Moroccan order for 50 HET A1 heavy equipment transporter tractors and 50 Broshuis MN573 trailers, announced on October 5. The direct commercial sale was placed through Optimum Vehicle Logistics, Oshkosh’s exclusive distributor in Morocco, after an earlier tranche entered operational service. The combinations are intended to move heavy armored equipment, including main battle tanks, recovery vehicles and self-propelled artillery, supporting force mobility and logistics. The order expands an established customer relationship, although the companies have not publicly disclosed its financial value or a delivery schedule for the additional vehicles and trailers.
