Pakistan’s Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) Showcases New Drone Production Facility

Pakistan's state-owned Heavy Industries Taxila has opened its Unmanned Aerial Systems Facility to media, showcasing several domestically associated drone designs. Displays included R-020 and R-040 vertical-takeoff platforms, a tailless delta-wing loitering munition, a P-905 interceptor and a larger strike concept resembling Turkey's YIHA. The portfolio points to local ambitions in surveillance, training, interception and one-way attack systems across multiple ranges. HIT says the showcased systems have entered production at its facilities and moved beyond the concept stage, although operational service, confirmed customer orders and delivery quantities remain undisclosed.
