Palantir secures $48 million Army software contract to modernize ammunition tracking and retire nine legacy systems

The US Army awarded Palantir a $48.1 million firm-fixed-price delivery order to replace nine legacy ammunition-management platforms with a unified commercial software environment. The order has a twelve-month base period and as many as five option years following a three-phase competition completed in about six weeks. The low-code and no-code platform is intended to support planning, inventory, logistics and audit functions across the ammunition lifecycle, including operations with limited connectivity. Consolidation should reduce duplicated data and maintenance burdens while giving commanders and sustainers a more consistent operational picture.
