Perennial Autonomy beats 10 rivals to win U.S. Department of War deep-strike drone trial after delivering 120 production-ready aircraft

Perennial Autonomy placed first in the deep-strike category of the Gauntlet II competition at Fort Carson, scoring 80.1 points against ten other finalists. The result followed an initial field of 49 participants at Camp Grayling and a requirement for competitors to deliver 120 production-ready aircraft with lethality payloads. Evaluators tested day and night missions that required drones to find, fix and finish targets beyond visual line of sight. The win advances Perennial into the program's next phase, but the competition result should not be read as a disclosed full-rate procurement contract.
