PGM Niewiadów targets 180,000 155 mm rounds a year as PLN 250 million ammunition expansion moves towards production

Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna has secured PLN 250 million to build large-calibre ammunition capacity capable of producing up to 180,000 155 mm artillery rounds annually. The project calls for three production lines at the ZSP Niewiadów complex, covering the filling and completion of 155 mm rounds as well as 120 mm tank and mortar ammunition. Initial lines have passed final technical acceptance, and production readiness is scheduled by the end of 2026. The site's private proving ground supports live testing up to 155 mm, including measurements of muzzle velocity and chamber pressure.
