Pixxel Targets US Growth, New Sensing Tech With $100M Raise

Pixxel closed a $100 million Series C round co-led by Temasek and Seraphim, bringing total funding to $195 million. The company operates six hyperspectral satellites and plans to expand United States manufacturing and deepen work with civil, defense and intelligence customers. Funding will support the Honeybee constellation, short-wave infrared capability, synthetic-aperture radar, ultra-high-resolution optical imaging and the Aurora Earth-intelligence software platform. The first United States-built Honeybee satellite is targeted for launch in 2027, while execution at commercial scale remains subject to manufacturing, launch and customer adoption.
