Poland and Croatia will operate Airbus A400M aircraft as part of NATO's new multinational strategic airlift fleet. The initiative addresses persistent European airlift capacity gaps. Additional partners are expected to join the pooled fleet. The programme complements the existing Heavy Airlift Wing based in Hungary.
