Poland's PGZ unveils full-scale Heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicle at MSPO 2026, with serial production readiness targeted for 2029

Polish defense group PGZ presented a full-scale demonstrator of its Heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicle at the MSPO 2026 exhibition. Huta Stalowa Wola is leading development, with prototype construction and testing planned before readiness for serial production in 2029. The tracked vehicle is intended to provide greater protection and firepower than lighter infantry carriers while operating alongside Poland’s expanding armored formations. The display represents a development milestone rather than a production order, and the final configuration, quantity and acquisition schedule remain subject to military testing and procurement decisions.
