Poland unveils a new jet-powered strike drone

Poland's WB Group unveiled the jet-powered WARMATE 30, also referred to as GLADIUS 2, for long-range strikes against high-value and time-sensitive targets. The flying-wing vehicle uses a Polish turbojet with a launch booster, carries an interchangeable warhead of up to 30 kilograms and is designed to exchange data with the GLADIUS reconnaissance-strike system and TOPAZ command system. WB Group says prototypes are in testing and the system is entering series production; the article does not disclose a procurement quantity, unit price or delivery schedule.
