QinetiQ and Serco join Canadian air training bid
QinetiQ and Serco have joined a Canadian industry team preparing a bid for the Royal Canadian Air Force's Range Advancement Generation Next and Airspace Revitalization, or RAGNAR, requirement. The consortium includes QinetiQ Group Canada, Serco Canada, Arcfield Canada, Des Nedhe Group Defence and Cold Lake First Nations Defence, combining range operations, technical support and Indigenous participation. Its proposed work addresses modernization of military air-training environments, including range infrastructure, instrumentation and the integration of live and simulated threats. The initiative remains a competitive proposal rather than an awarded contract, with the final solution and delivery obligations subject to Canada's procurement process.
