UK Government Commits To Boom Refueling For RAF Tankers

The UK government has committed to adding boom refueling capability to RAF Voyager tankers. Boom refueling would allow support of receptacle-equipped aircraft such as future F-35As and allied types. The move addresses a longstanding gap in RAF tanker flexibility. It enhances interoperability with U.S. and NATO aircraft.
