RENK Wins €30M Patria TRACKX Transmission Order as Nordic Buys Begin

RENK received a €30 million follow-on order from Patria for HSWL 076 transmissions for the TRACKX tracked armored vehicle, with deliveries beginning in 2027. The award follows an initial preproduction order earlier in 2026 and Finnish and Swedish decisions to acquire pre-series vehicles for testing. Developed jointly with Patria, the approximately 700-kilogram transmission combines propulsion, steering and braking through digital controls and is prepared for hybrid drives. RENK states that it supports road speeds up to 90 kilometers per hour, while the new order's transmission quantity and allocation between pre-series and future production vehicles remain undisclosed.
