Rheinmetall expects €12.4 billion from Germany’s Arminius plan for up to 5,500 Boxers, with potential value reaching €77 billion

Rheinmetall expects about €12.4 billion in revenue from the initial vehicle package under Germany's proposed Arminius programme, whose full value could approach €25 billion because Rheinmetall and KNDS Deutschland each own half of Artec. The package may cover roughly 1,800 Boxer vehicles in variants including Schakal infantry fighting vehicles, RCH 155 howitzers, command, medical, bridge and Skyranger 30 platforms. Parliamentary approval is expected in December 2026, after which signing could follow within days. Unfunded industry options could eventually raise procurement to 5,500 vehicles and the programme's theoretical value to €77 billion.
