Rheinmetall HX CAML Shown at AUSA 2026 After Low-Cost Interceptor Live Fire
American Rheinmetall displayed its HX-based Common Autonomous Multi-Domain Launcher at AUSA 2026 after a live interceptor firing from a containerised launcher conducted with Furientis during the autumn. The CAML AMP concept combines a mobile truck, autonomous operating functions and open interfaces intended to accommodate different effectors, including Furientis' low-cost interceptor offerings. Rheinmetall says the HX platform supports waypoint and convoy navigation, teleoperation, autonomous loading and unloading, and operation with or without a crew. A separate CAML mission demonstration took place at Redstone Arsenal in June 2026; the exhibition and firing milestones do not constitute a disclosed US Army production order.
