Rheinmetall UK, Mercedes-Benz formalise partnership, unveil new vehicles

Rheinmetall UK and Mercedes-Benz UK formalized a partnership and unveiled the Timber Wolf and Silver Wolf tactical vehicles at DVD 2026. The companies are combining commercial automotive engineering and supply-chain scale with military integration and support expertise as they pursue British Army mobility requirements, including replacement of older utility fleets. Presenting two configurations demonstrates how a common industrial relationship could cover different payload, protection and future growth needs, while domestic assembly and support may be important alongside vehicle performance in any future competition.
