Royal IHC and Naval Group sign first order for the new Orka-class submarines

Royal IHC and Naval Group have signed the first industrial order under the Netherlands' Orka-class submarine programme. The contract covers the design and subsequent production and installation of onboard accommodation modules for the four submarines, rather than construction of the complete boats. The modules will provide the living quarters and associated facilities used by their crews.
