RTX Nabs $1.1 Billion Mod For Nearly 2,000 Sidewinder Missiles

RTX received a $1.1 billion contract modification to produce nearly 2,000 AIM-9X Sidewinder short-range air-to-air missiles. The deal expands US and FMS partner inventories of the infrared-guided weapon. Production will support multiple service variants.
