RTX says $25 million investment will expand Polish plant producing F135 engine parts for all F-35 variants and create more than 120 jobs

Pratt & Whitney will invest $25 million, about PLN95 million, to expand its Niepołomice plant in Poland, where complex tubular assemblies for the F135 engine powering every F-35 variant are produced. The enlarged facility is expected to become operational in 2028 and create more than 120 jobs. The site also supports components for GTF and PW800 commercial engines, broadening the investment’s industrial impact beyond military propulsion. Combined with a separate $100 million expansion in Rzeszów, the project brings the company’s announced Polish investment for the year to $125 million.
