Saab receives order for three A26 submarines for Poland

Saab has been awarded a $4.8 billion contract for three A26 submarines for the Polish Navy under the Orka programme. The diesel-electric boats feature Stirling AIP, Tomahawk-capable launchers and modular mission bays. Deliveries begin in the early 2030s. The deal cements Sweden-Poland Baltic naval cooperation.
