Seeing Systems unveils Reaver drone carrier

Seeing Systems unveiled the Reaver 101, an uncrewed surface vessel concept designed to act as a maritime carrier for large numbers of unmanned aircraft. The company says the vessel can transport, launch and recover up to 100 strike drones while managing the surface platform and its air vehicles through a common command-and-control architecture. Reaver 101 is advertised with a maximum range of about 2,000 nautical miles and is designed for road or C-17 transport without a dedicated support ship. The unveiling represents a product concept rather than an announced military procurement, and no customer, contract value or operational deployment date was identified.
