Spanish yard signs exploratory corvette MOUs with Croatian firms
Navantia signed memoranda of understanding with Croatian engineering company AITAC and Iskra Shipyard Šibenik on October 1 to develop local participation in Croatia's prospective corvette program. The arrangements cover engineering, construction, integration, testing and lifecycle support, creating a framework for cooperation with Croatian industry. Navantia's March proposal offered two corvettes based on its Avante 2200 or Alfa 3000 designs, together with spare parts, training, simulators and integrated logistics support. The agreements advance an industrial offering for the Croatian Navy but do not constitute a shipbuilding award or confirm a final design, contract value or delivery schedule.
