Special Report: Australia's Nova Systems scales space and integration capabilities
Australia’s Nova Systems is expanding its space and systems-integration activities, including a formalized partnership with Planet to deliver commercial Earth-observation data and analytics for Australian defence and intelligence users. The offering combines broad-area, near-daily electro-optical imagery with automated change detection and AI-enabled analysis that can be integrated into existing government systems. Nova is also expanding its National Systems Integration Centre in Brisbane and developing space-related infrastructure in South Australia, including sensor capabilities at its Peterborough Space Precinct. The initiatives represent company capacity growth and technology partnerships rather than a newly disclosed single Australian Defence Force procurement contract.
