Special Report: Australian Army fields first AS9 Huntsman artillery

Australian Army has fielded its first Hanwha AS9 Huntsman 155mm self-propelled howitzer under LAND 8116 Phase 1. Built at Hanwha's Geelong facility, the AS9 is a K9-derivative optimised for Australian conditions. Programme covers 30 SPHs and 15 AS10 armoured resupply vehicles. Marks Australia's first indigenous SPH production capability.
