Special Report: Team Grenadier details UK light mobility vehicle bid

Team Grenadier has detailed its proposal for the UK's Light Mobility Vehicle requirement, built around an armoured Ineos Grenadier Expeditionary Patrol Vehicle. The consortium pairs Ineos as prime contractor with NMS UK and engineering partner SMT, offering 115- and 127-inch wheelbase platforms intended to cover nine variants. Protection is designed to meet STANAG 4569 Level II, with trials expected to begin on October 19, 2026. The vehicle remains a competitive bid within a wider programme; the Ministry of Defence has not selected a winner, awarded production quantities or confirmed a delivery schedule.
