Steel to be cut on new British attack submarine next year

Steel cutting on the first British SSN-AUKUS attack submarine is scheduled for 2027. The programme is the UK's largest submarine project since Astute. Construction will be at BAE Systems Barrow. It marks a key milestone in the trilateral AUKUS pact.
