Türkiye's Roketsan says its Karaok system hit aerial target for 1st time

Roketsan reported that its KARAOK short-range anti-tank guided missile struck an aerial target for the first time, demonstrating a potential secondary role beyond its original anti-armor mission. KARAOK is a shoulder-launched, fire-and-forget weapon designed to attack armored vehicles, so the test indicates that its existing seeker and launcher can engage at least some airborne targets. The company did not disclose the target type, engagement range, test geometry or probability of kill, leaving the operational limits of this application unconfirmed.
