Türkiye Signs $195M ASELSAN Radar Contract as Steel Dome Orders Surge

ASELSAN disclosed a $195 million radar-supply contract with Turkey's Presidency of Defence Industries on October 7 through a stock-market announcement. The disclosure did not identify radar models, quantities, the receiving service or delivery milestones, leaving the order's specific configuration undefined. It follows separate October agreements worth €1.0085 billion for serial production of long-range systems and €2.46 billion for hybrid air-defence systems, together approaching €3.47 billion. Those larger purchases support Turkey's Steel Dome air-defence effort, but the new radar contract's exact relationship to that architecture has not been confirmed in the announced terms.
