TOMTAŞ Sets Out 70% Structural Share in HÜRJET Production

TOMTAŞ plans to manufacture approximately 70 percent of HÜRJET structural parts, with initial component deliveries to Turkish Aerospace Industries targeted for December 2026. The company's Kayseri operation allocates around 10,000 square metres to assembling roughly 7,000 parts into five principal components before shipment to Ankara for aircraft completion and engine installation. Its responsibility covers structural manufacturing and component-level assembly, including hydraulic, fuel-system and wiring integration, rather than 70 percent of the aircraft's total value or onboard systems. TOMTAŞ expects aircraft incorporating the first delivered assemblies to fly in 2027, supporting HÜRJET production for the Turkish and Spanish programmes.
