TOTE Services awards construction contract for new missile tracking vessel

TOTE Services awarded Hanwha Philly Shipyard a construction subcontract for one missile-range instrumentation vessel, with options for two additional ships and first delivery scheduled for 2030. TOTE will manage construction under an agreement with the US Maritime Administration for a program supporting the Missile Defense Agency. The vessels will track Pacific missile-interception tests, collect measurement data and support range safety, replacing Pacific Tracker and Pacific Collector. Their design uses the National Security Multi-Mission Vessel hull and approximately 70% commonality with that platform, drawing on the shipyard's existing production infrastructure and supplier base.
