Turkish firm Otokar lands $1.47B armored vehicle deal

Otokar signed a $1.472 billion export contract covering several types of wheeled armoured vehicles and integrated logistics support for an undisclosed customer. The agreement is expected to run for seven years, with vehicle deliveries planned to begin in 2027 and continue over roughly three years. Its effectiveness remains conditional on regulatory approvals, financial guarantees, and receipt of an advance payment, so the announced value should not be treated as immediately recognized revenue. Otokar did not identify the customer, quantities, vehicle models, or country of destination.
