U.S. Air Force awards Raytheon $603 million for B-52 radar
USAF awarded Raytheon $603 million for the AN/APQ-188 AESA radar to modernize the B-52 fleet. The new radar improves all-weather strike and targeting capability. It is central to the B-52J re-engining and modernization program. Delivery supports the bomber's service life into the 2050s.
