U.S. Air Force buys 40 electronic warfare kits for F-15EX
The U.S. Air Force awarded BAE Systems a $146.7 million contract for 40 Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System kits supporting F-15EX production Lots 7 and 8. EPAWSS combines threat detection, situational awareness, electronic countermeasures, and self-protection functions in an integrated suite. Work will be performed primarily in Nashua, New Hampshire, and is scheduled for completion by August 2030. The award supplies and supports mission equipment for newly produced aircraft; it does not cover the F-15EX airframes themselves or represent a separate order for additional fighters.
