U.S. and Indian armies close Yudh Abhyas 2026 after three weeks of joint air assaults, drone training and HIMARS live fire

U.S. and Indian Army forces have concluded Yudh Abhyas 2026 after nearly three weeks of bilateral training at Auli and the Mahajan Field Firing Range. At Auli, troops trained in jungle warfare, rappelling, counterterrorism, building clearance, long-range marksmanship, combined air assaults and the use of U.S. and Indian drone platforms. At Mahajan, the two armies conducted precision-fire training that included HIMARS, Stinger and M-LIDS live-fire events, strengthening interoperability across maneuver, air assault, air-defense and fires missions.
