US approves air defence upgrades deal for Ukraine
The U.S. State Department has approved a possible $2.68 billion Foreign Military Sale to strengthen Ukraine's air-defense capability. The package includes S-300 Clone and GAM-67 missiles, range-extended laser-guided air-defense rockets, improvised launchers, system modifications and RPS-202 counter-UAS radars. It also covers related equipment, training, engineering and logistics support. The approval authorizes a potential sale and does not by itself confirm that every item will be delivered.
