U.S. Army and Singapore Conduct Rocket Artillery Live Fire to Improve Long Range Strike Coordination

Singaporean and U.S. Army artillery crews conducted combined rocket live fire at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, on September 22 during Exercise Daring Warrior 2026. The event paired Singapore's M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System with U.S. multiple-launch rocket capabilities and rehearsed common fire-mission procedures, communications and long-range strike coordination. Large U.S. training areas are particularly important for Singapore because the small city-state cannot routinely fire long-range rockets at home, making the annual exercise both a readiness event and a venue for sustained bilateral interoperability between forces.
