BAE Systems OneArc wins US Army contract for embedded vehicle training

BAE Systems OneArc received a U.S. Army Other Transaction Agreement to integrate its Embedded Collective Training solution on a platoon of combat vehicles at Fort Hood, Texas, during the Force Development Innovation & Assessment event. The deployment is described as the first commercially available embedded trainer installed in a U.S. Army combat vehicle, allowing crews to conduct precision gunnery progression and qualification tasks using the platform’s own controls and procedures. The system is intended to support distributed and platoon-level collective training while reducing reliance on fixed simulator facilities, with later phases planned to extend the approach to other crewed and uncrewed ground platforms.
