U.S. Army awards Boeing $636.1 million for Apache helicopter support, lifting sustainment contract value above $1.1 billion through 2029

The U.S. Army has awarded Boeing a $636.1 million contract modification for AH-64 Apache sustainment, raising the cumulative value of the agreement above $1.1 billion. The three-year action covers component repair, consumables, supply-chain management and related support through April 2029, with more than $506 million in fiscal 2026 Army working-capital funding obligated at award. Rather than buying new helicopters or upgrades, the contract is intended to preserve availability and readiness across the Apache fleet by sustaining parts and repair capacity over the covered period across deployed units.
